About Us

Everything you see here was carefully and artfully hand-crafted by Jonathan Uecker. He has always been a woodworker and pursued it both as his degree in school and as a career.

He began making the unique spatulas that Workbench Kitchen is known for when he was frustrated with spatulas that didn't work well and weren't big enough for his breakfast. So he created better ones. They became cherished gifts for friends and family.

His wife Hanna encouraged him to turn his creations into a business in 2017. In 2018, Hanna began making wood wick soy candles for Workbench Kitchen. Together, Jonathan, Hanna and their son, love the opportunity to do creative work together.

Our goal is to help others create memorable meals and create a beautiful home. We are committed to making products that are better for you, your home, and the environment.

Thank you for letting us play a small role in the bigger story you are creating.
